Aaron Ó Conchúir A gaelscoil near me was going to take in a few as well. The community got together and took it to the politicians. It got shut down.

Now, back to the DEI payment. Why can an Irish man not get funding to run in his own country? But a foreigner can?!

We can't lose what we are.

Aaron Ó Conchúir S.O.S Aontú Is an Ireland with 40% indigenous irish, 40% naturalised irish, 10% not naturalised and 10% asylum seekers, still a majority irish country?

Celtic Norse Aontú He has an Irish mother and moved to Ireland in 1991. He loves his community and campaigned against the political censorship of republicans, the removal articles 2 & 3, for justice for those imprisoned and for victims of the Troubles, and wants to continue helping his community.

Celtic Norse S.O.S Aontú It really depends on one’s opinion of what being Irish is. I don’t necessarily have an opinion at the moment, I am still figuring things out. But what’s your point? :)

Aaron Ó Conchúir Celtic Norse Aontú Civnat = everyone with a passport is Irish
Cromwellian intent = continue the plantation of Ireland, then claim the planters are more Irish than the Irish themselves after they get their passports.

The difference between Aontu and the other parties supporting it is the pace.

Aaron Ó Conchúir Look, man. I'm not speaking on the topics I discuss to sew division or go disrespect anyone. Even yourself and Aontu included. But to me, it seems there's an agenda to lose irish identity.

There will be uncomfortable discussions to be had. But we need to have them.

Celtic Norse Yeah I don’t have a good answer to that one… DEI annoys me, I feel it isn’t organic at all. You just see it everywhere now.

Celtic Norse I agree completely. I feel that too, last week when I visited my old Gaeltacht town and the hotel near my old bean an tí’s house was filled with immigrants and the woman at the local spar didn’t even speak Irish… in the Gaeltacht.
