Got a call this morning from a woman incarcerated at CIW, I’ve been talking to her since 2020 but it’s been a minute since I heard from her.

She let me know that she wrote a book, a screenplay, and wants to pursue a doc about prison.

What a force. Imagine if she were free.

You need to be on a path to *reduce* stress as you age, preferably starting pre-30

Because all those “weird” issues that I thought were related to age?

Most we’re gone by 40. (Physicians are incredibly ageist too and terrible at root cause…anything)…

I know I’ve said it a million times but I’m such a fan of this younger generation. They’ve moved me to tears so many times in the last decade. They’ve had to fight for things kids shouldn’t even have to be thinking about.

Potentially bad news for the millions of TikTok fans across the country. Under what is now US law, TikTok is now forced to find a new owner within 9 months, or be banned from the United States entirely.

It’s always funny when people say women should get to be assholes like men and not be punished for it. Very similar to when someone Black does big crimes and people bring up a white counterpart. We should want to be better than those counterparts. There should be no comparison.

as someone who has a baby cousin about to graduate from UT Austin in a few weeks, this is extremely frightening to me.

it seems ironic that the Stanford administrator who sent this out is a professor of ethnic studies—a field of study that was established after student activists shut down a college campus for FIVE WHOLE MONTHS.
