BREAKING - Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa said on Wednesday the country has had indirect talks with Israel to calm the situation as Israeli strikes continued to target Syria. Reuters earlier reported a backchannel established via the UAE.

I was just leaving a birthday party with my four year old as the sirens went off in central Israel. Trump may have signed a deal with the Houthis to stop attacks on vessels in the Red Sea, but that deal didn’t include the Houthis stopping their attacks on Israel.
