Join Little Scientists Club this Tuesday, February 25th for a Hands-On Hodgepodge day! Our educators are picking their favorite Little Scientists Club activities to share with you, so come explore with us in the Green Room from 9:30-10:30 am. Included with admission.

This month, we celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth by highlighting the contributions of black scientists. Dr. Marie Daly was a trailblazing chemist who studied how the body digests food, and helped us understand the dangerous effect of cholesterol on arteries.

Who is Margaret Hamilton? Did she reach the moon with math? Join us and Wild Swan Theater and learn about the Apollo missions. This weekend explore hands-on activities with us, then head to the Wild Swan Theater in March for the world premiere of their show Coding To The Moon.

Our final featured scientist for #BlackHistoryMonth is Katherine Johnson! Johnson worked as a mathematician and computer for NACA (and later, #NASA). She is famous for her work on the Apollo missions. We were saddened to hear of her passing this week at 101 years old.
