Update: This afternoon, the Burundian contingent and Somali troops made a hasty withdrawal from their positions in Xawaadleey, retreating toward Garsaale and Qalimow. Following their departure, Al-Shabaab seized control of the settlement.

Update: AS attacked Ceelhareeri this morning. This time, they reportedly deployed an SVBIED against local forces defending the settlement. Battles are ongoing.

The settlement has not completely fallen to AS, as of this evening, battles were still taking place inside the settlement. I don't want to be hasty about this, so I'll wait until things become clear.
