When I first graduated, I thought there were only 2 directions you can go with an Accounting degree… Audit, or Tax. Man…was I wrong. Accounting is one of the most versatile fields out there… with benefits ranging from your career, to even your personal life.

At home, family and friends eagerly anticipated the arrival of their new addition, excitement filled the air.

The youngest child before the new one was overcome with fear, unable to muster the courage to even touch the baby.Bobo fled!

In contrast, the two older siblings were thrilled to finally meet their new sibling, whom they had been waiting for with bated breath.

The younger one was thrilled to touch her and he felt like "baba aburo".

The eldest child, convinced that the baby was a girl, passionately argued that she should be named BARAKAT, extolling her beauty, radiant complexion, and plump cheeks as the perfect justification for the name.

Her loveliness captivated all.

Her paternal grandmother, who saw a *mini-version* of herself, bestowed upon her, *ADEDOLAPO* .

Adefat's decision stood, and *ALIMAT* became her name.

And the family surname being *ADEDEJI* , Hence, her full name shone bright: *ADEDEJI ALIMAT DOLAPO*

The way my future wasn't in my hands. No fear of _what will tomorrow bring?_ Carefree and nonchalant and to everyone, _don't mind her, she's just a child!_ And now, when the child in me tries to play, _why are you acting like a child?_ Isn't she?

One minute, I was a child and the next, adulthood is thrusted upon me. Yet, the child in me keeps howling _I'm not readyyyy_ What happened to Quantitative Reasoning assignment being my only problem in the world or no, 'A composition about myself'

I'm touched that my people have always been there for me, and yesterday was no different - even those I didn't expect to show up were there. I'm grateful for all of YOU! Your wishes and prayers mean a lot to me. God bless you all!
