I’m currently working on my slides for a talk I will be giving to grades 9-12 students, and this whole process reminded me of why I got into drinking water research. Also, finding cool ways to simplify my research is so exciting!

Breathe

I gave the talk earlier today, and I am beyond impressed! The students had so much background knowledge on drinking water quality, and their answers to my questions blew me away. Also, their questions were thought-provoking!

I have been inspired to start baking by one of my closest friends, Cayla Anderson. In her words, “Baking is like science.”

It’s always a pleasure meeting with my mentor! I get so much insight and motivation to navigate life.
