So I'm rebuilding my domain setup, but this time, it's Microsoft AD style, introducing a whole new level of filesystem interoperability headaches, but I've gotta say, I'm legit really impressed with how well cupcake de açaí's ntfs-3g drivers works for RW mounting NTFS volumes on Linux

Just went outside to see the #ISS fly over the UK at the end of a difficult deployment. it was somehow very calming to watch three people fly silently 250 miles above my head after 16 hours of total madness UK times and dates are available here meteorwatch.org/iss-internatio…

It was definitely a labour of love, but I've finally got my #ZFS setup being created idempotently - first step to declaring Tobermory's entire storage backend in code! :D Alex Willmer's Ansible jq-filter was a bloody lifesaver! github.com/moreati/jq-fil…

So yesterday I drank too much coffee and decided that git repositories were actually infrastructure... One #Terraform #Gitlab provider later, and now we've got our projects defined in a meta-defined meta-project called Meta. We're through the looking-glass here people!

Spent several hours yesterday trying to do nested loops properly in #Terraform. Check r/terraform this morning and they only bloody released 0.13-beta1 which let me do exactly what I wanted in about 15 minutes :D Can confirm, so far a hell of a lot easier than 0.12 update was!

The quest for 'MSPaint but on Linux' is finally at an end. #GIMP, you're really great, but I just spend spend an hour learning how to crop. #Pinta was great for about 20 seconds until it crashed so hard it took gnome with it. #mtpaint - You're the lightweight image editor for me

When you're building an Autounattend.xml to automate windows OS installation, how are you supposed to know what the 'IMAGE/NAME' is if it's not the same as the install.wim variant?? already spent a week (of evenings) getting ws2019 to work and now win10 is even more of a pain :(
