Y’all, I’m still reeling. I lost both my editor and publisher yesterday in one fell swoop! My editor/publisher Lisa Lucas was the first person to tell me it was time for me to write down my story. She is responsible for my 2 book deal at Pantheon for a sum that makes me giddy.
We hope to see you at City Lights Books on May 14 for a celebration of our Issue 127—enticingly redesigned by Justin Carder. Oscar Villalon will emcee; with us will be poet James Cagney & fiction writers Rose Himber Howse and hannah Kingsley-Ma.
Admission is free. Join us!
