The new grid layout in Figma isn’t quite working for what I need. There’s no height = hug contents, no content reflow or column number change when it’s smaller than min width, and I can’t even use variables for columns, rows, or gaps? Feels like a beta/preview for my use case.

Did you know, If a component has variants and you duplicate it along with a frame containing its instances, Figma creates a new copy of the component, and the duplicated frame uses the new instances. Can be useful for exploring design variations with components. #FigmaTips

I don’t get the hype around the new Grid feature in Figma. Without dynamic rows/columns or fill/hug options, it’s basically just a slightly quicker way to set up a layout grid, which was already pretty easy to do.

The new Figma updates are great, but this bug?!?! I have plenty of space and I see "...ha" instead of "Alpha", and "...ck" instead of "Black".
