My dear sis ... if you even step out & they join, it'll be a different matter.🙄 From Concerned Professionals to EiE Nigeria to #EndSARS, when citizens have had enough, they respond. Unfortunately, with each day more dreams are being destroyed & more souls broken.😟

And I really hope National Assembly members, especially those in opposition, realise this is not a Natasha problem.🤨 This admin is showing that it will attempt to silence anyone & everyone it can't control.🤡 #ShineYourEye #OfficeOfTheCitizen

Provision for a referendum will stop this jamboree we do every few years. It would certainly be a powerful provision in our constitution! #OfficeOfTheCitizen

We certainly have a competence, capacity & character problem. But this perspective is debatable. How do we define "like"?🤔 How they look? What they say? Aligned values? Hmmm...... #OfficeOfTheCitizen

What is there to "Commend" really? He should be jailed, but hard for a govt that celebrates criminality to hold people accountable.🤡 But it is a good reminder that when there's enough noise from citizens & platforms like Premium Times & Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), we can move the needle.✊🏽

Seems a lot of deaths are happening these days - physical, emotional, spiritual & pyschological😒. There's a certain level of brokenness that'll make you immune to injustice.🥲 Nigeria is pushing a lot of people.💥 #OfficeOfTheCitizen

1. We don't have enough security forces to police Nigeria 2. Yet Nigeria Police Force keeps poking its fingers into the eyes of citizens to stop peaceful expressions of discontent. 3. 5 yrs ago during #EndSARS, Government of Nigeria chose murder. It's not sustainable. #OfficeOfTheCitizen

Public assets as private property. Selective obedience to court judgements in the continued quest to undermine the judiciary. #OfficeOfTheCitizen

Five years ago today, #Nigeria's military killed peaceful protesters in high-brow Lagos. As I write for Financial Nigeria today, the #LekkiMassacre had an economic impact. bit.ly/4o0DHcs The Business Times 🇳🇬 has an analysis in the same vein. bit.ly/43viYVJ And events

Today we remember Pelumi Onifade — a reporter who was extrajudicially killed in Lagos in October 2020 while covering the #EndSARS Protests. Pelumi was shot dead by policemen who raided Abattoir area of Lagos where he had gone to interview some traders whose shops were vandalized.
