I'm not entirely convinced the potential signing of John Victor is a smokescreen to sign Mads Hermansen. I suspect there's something else going on in the background which has led to the influx of "last minute" approaches being made.

It's almost as if when South American football experts such as Tim Vickery sing a player's praises we should probably listen to them... Instead taking what a West Ham page sharing videos of a keepers "blunders" as gospel.

A deal for Mads Hermansen is expected to be agreed very soon! It appears the goalkeeper situation has taken a U-turn with our new goalkeeper likely to be one the fanbase are happier with. On a decent human level though this is really shit for John Victor. Maybe next time, John.
