Withholding SNAP funds and the shutdown RIFs were totally illegal moves by the Trump admin and are being challenged in court. Dems “winning” by undoing them is rewarding Trump’s illegal behavior and theory of politics. Schumer was totally outmaneuvered. Russ Vought won

Essential reading on what a failure this "deal" is. The Dems voting for this are rewarding Trump and Vought's lawless behavior re: SNAP and RIFs and they should fully expect more abuse in the future.

Classic motte and bailey argumentation here as anyone can quibble with what constitutes “wide regard.” It is quite easy to think of successful government programs if you aren’t ideologically inclined to oppose them.
