We’re out door knocking in Wakefield in the BX for a #GasFreeNYC! ✅ save money ✅ create good jobs ✅ cut pollution By eliminating oil/gas boilers => modern, energy efficient heat pumps. Zohran Kwame Mamdani and New York City Council should fund, implement the program!

This thing where WFP defers to the point where its decisions just validate whatever is happening is a sad abdication of leadership. They had a chance here to show a lot of relevance by doing Delgado, but decided to kick the can (again). 🤦

A lot of politicians and aspiring politicians exaggerate. This is no exaggeration: Boylan is a hero for New York. A progressive who gets results! Please donate

Goldman has been completely MIA in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens, but all over his cable tv hits. Now filming a video knocking doors. What a phony🙄

This is a deeply disingenuous video. Yes we need to crack down on fraud. But the Governor's actual proposals go well beyond what she says here and will significanly impact your ability to be compensated fairly by a negligent driver if you are hit. 🧵

We’ll be in Albany soon to protest Hochul pushing this scheme, which would raise energy bills, kill clean energy jobs, and increase pollution. The legislature should once again tell her to kick rocks! Trump’s not a King and she’s not a Queen.

Pete Sikora (@petesikora1) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Indeed. Hochul wants the legislature to embrace her Trump math on the fly in the budget. She wasted years ignoring her legal responsibilities. As a result energy costs rose. She’s keeping NYers hooked to expensive gas, which also cools the planet. Legislators should say NO!

Pete Sikora (@petesikora1) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Yup. Bad! And let's be really clear: Hochul is using nonsensical Trump-like reasoning to justify herself. Check out NYCC's memo, linked below. 🧵

NEW: Mamdani's City Hall is discussing charging fees for currently free on-street parking — a policy change that would not only create a new revenue stream but also seize a once-in-a-generation opportunity to improve the streetscape. nyc.streetsblog.org/2026/03/05/mam…

Incredibly worth doing! It makes no sense at all to let people store their cars for free on public property, creating a massively stupid subsidy. The city also has serious needs for everything from housing to education and child care to sanitation. Please Zohran Kwame Mamdani do this!

Pete Sikora (@petesikora1) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is perfect Dem behavior: agree to make concessions oil and gas companies want by asking for Trump to lay off his illegal behavior that’s getting its ass kicked in court. These projects are under construction, headed for completion now! Don’t reward Trump!

Today on Volts: NY gov. Kathy Hochul wants to delay or roll back her state's landmark climate law in the name of affordability. State activists say more clean energy would bring costs down & Hochul is just making excuses for past failures. I get into it with Pete Sikora.

Tom O'Keefe (@_tomokeefe_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This one’s basically guaranteed to be 11/10 with Pete Sikora in the mix ⚡️💪✨ - let’s stop Governor Kathy Hochul dishonest #CLCPA rollback. New York should be leading not lagging on energy!

Thanks New York Focus, as always, for great reportage – Zohran Kwame Mamdani Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani, know you and your team are balancing a lot right now, but disappointed to see you failing to walk the walk on #climate nysfocus.com/2026/03/26/clc…

Gov. Hochul is picking an affordability fight in the state budget this year: With the spending plan certain to be late, the governor is holding out for a host of cost-of-living measures politico.com/news/2026/03/3…

Tom O'Keefe (@_tomokeefe_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I think what Nick Reisman means here is that Governor Hochul Press Office Hochul is saying the word affordability a lot as she does whatever she wants to - in this case, gutting climate legislation that would contribute to energy affordability gains if not gutted…
