Insane box score from the ABA's last season: January 9th, 1976 - Virginia Squires vs. Denver Nuggets: The Nuggets easily blew out the Squires, 155 to 128. In this high-scoring affair, 18 out of 19 players scored 10+ PTS, including all 10 Nuggets' players! Is this a record?

The Three-Point Contest: Did not originate from the NBA. The ABA held the first one towards the end of the 1968 season. Wes Bialosuknia defeated Les Selvage, 15 to 6, including 8 makes in a row, and won a camera, according to this newspaper account.

Here is every known 5+STL/5+ BLK game in ABA history once they became official stats in 1972-73. Interesting observations: - The first four instances happened in the same month! (Jan. 1973) - Len Elmore Leads all players with three instances, including back-to-back games in 1975

After leaving Michigan State early to join the ABA, Ralph Simpson was a key member of the Denver franchise for seven seasons. He remains in the Top 10 of many stats categories for the Team. Retweet this if you’d like to see Simpson’s number retired by the Nuggets 💪

Not one of Dr. J’s dunks, jumpers, assists or rebounds from the ABA are in the pro hoops record books. Neither are his two championships with the New York Nets. 🏆🏆 That ain’t right! 😤 Retweet this if you want to see ABA stats included in pro hoops history! ❤️🤍💙

Not a single one of Dan Issel’s ABA points, rebounds or assists are in the NBA record books. That ain’t right! If they were, he’d be 14th, instead of 168th, on the all time scoring list and his ring with the Colonels would be celebrated more! ABA stats should be recognized!
