Here's the biggest lesson I learned from running a membership community for 3 years: At some point I ran out of things to teach. People don't stay because of me. They stay because of each others.

If someone wants to unfollows you for any reason, then they were never gonna be your customer anyway. Let them go and don't waste time thinking about it.

I find it easier to connect with a fellow introvert who speak a different language than me than an extrovert from my own country.

Procrastinating is not a choice for me. I try not to procrastinate, but my best ideas don't come to me until the day before deadline.

If you make content so valuable that people have no choice but to follow you, you don’t need to worry about hacks and tricks.

You can’t change people’s mind with facts. In fact it makes them double down. But when you make them say “I never thought of it that way” they’ll eventually end up changing their own mind.

You can “be yourself” and be considerate of others at the same time.

2 heads are better than 1. But when it comes to leadership, you can't have too many cooks in the kitchen. Having 2 leaders with 2 different vision and plan will just confuse everyone.

Storytelling is a form of personal development. It turns your memories into life lessons.

People think "doing what you love" and "doing what you're good at" are 2 different things, but in my experience, it's the same thing. Doing what I love is "serving others using doing what I'm good at" and it doesn't really matter what the thing is...

Sometimes, "giving value" means sharing something that your audience already knew, but didn't know how to put into words. Because you "gave value" by making them feel smart.

You never have to worry about job security if you have a strong personal brand.

If you’re always right, it doesn’t mean you’re smart. It means you’re stubborn.

Whether I’m writing content or speaking on stage, I’m talking to one individual at a time. Ironically that actually ends up making a bigger impact for the audience at large.
