An informative morning read about incentives and finances behind organ donations. A question to follow: as we are moving towards self-driving cars and, hopefully, less fatal collisions, shouldn't we be urgently looking into growing synthetic organs? worksinprogress.news/p/getting-peop…

Before starting a new project, I am visiting my grandparents in Siberia. As kids, we spent every August in their garden while our parents were mountaineering. Despite the stereotypical beliefs about cold weather, everything grows here when in good hands. Pics of today’s harvest:

How, but more importantly why should we measure biodiversity as innovators, investors, and corporates? A very insightful discussion led by Greensphere Capital and allies last Friday Keble College, Oxford. Excited to dive into the new set of challenges in my new role as an EiR The Sainsbury Laboratory.

An exciting entry on yesterday’s menu list at King's College, Cambridge - a fiber-rich carbs-low pasta by The Supplant Company. As many biologists know, it takes forever to turn lab discoveries into products. What a special moment it was to witness and taste the result of years of research!
