Reading this breaks me. The scale of brutal assaults against Tigrayan women and girls is not just a headline; it’s a wound that hasn’t stopped bleeding. The world cannot keep looking away. Tigrayans deserve justice, healing, and the world’s solidarity. #TigrayGenocide

While the war on Tigray is technically over, Eritrean forces still occupy large parts of the region, committing rape, abductions & looting per UN Humanitarian. Sexual violence persists post-ceasefire while tensions in surrounding regions risk wider conflict.

This is exactly the point I made on LeftReckoning. The lionizing and mythology surrounding Ethiopia made people less likely to believe they were capable of the #TigrayGenocide. Ethiopia is NOT utopia it is a genocidal entity.
