I’m gonna say this but I don’t think every Prince release should be on physical media. Prince has too much material to just try and cram everything on vinyl or CD. Some things work better digitally than physically.

With Art Official Age & Plectrumelectrum now licensed to Sony Music, there’s a rumor that the Prince Estate are trying to move away from Warner Bros completely. This is probably the reason why there hasn’t a lot of releases cause WB are demanding more than what the estate gives.

Apparently this film is now owned by Disney. Knowing them it will probably never get a re-release
