Craig Berube lauds Easton Cowan's work ethic, before giving an outlook on Cowan's training camp: “A lot of players coming out of junior, they have those junior habits. He needs to show us he doesn’t have those habits.”

Nick Robertson is starting Leafs camp on a line with John Tavares and Bobby McMann. Easton Cowan paired with Alex Nylander and Jacob Quillan. Matthew Knies playing alongside Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.

#LeafsForever prospect Alexander Plesovskikh wins the foot race and makes a nice pass for the primary assist. He had a season high 19:20 TOI in Spartak's 8-3 win. It was also the most of the team's forwards in the game. Plesovskikh has 6 points in 6 games to start this year.

Alex Nylander said the development options that the #Leafs organization has was one of the reasons why he signed an AHL deal with the #Marlies. He added that he did receive NHL offers.
