The landlord lobby were lying? What a shock!

Across the UK we’ve seen instances of councillors who rent being expected to excuse themselves from debates on rental issues, yet landlord MPs can vote on these issues while mistreating their tenants. MPs shouldn’t be landlords.

It’s time to kick out the profiteers. The things we need to exist shouldn’t be left in the hands of those whose only goal is profit.

They want to sell off our data to massive, uncountable tech corporations and infringe on our civil liberties whilst trying to sell it to us as “progress.” Do they think we’re stupid?

We fought for (and won!) a ban on Section 21 evictions, but we’ve had to wait years for it to be implemented. Every day that this has remained in place has seen people forced out of their homes. We welcome the fact that this should soon be implemented - but we won’t forget that!

Israel can flagrantly ignore international law, and kidnap citizens of other countries from international waters, with no real consequence. Sickening.

Protests against genocide = new police powers needed. British citizens illegally kidnapped in international waters = not a matter for the British government. The government have made their position clear repeatedly. They’re on the side of genocide.

This is the consequence of a housing system that puts profit before people. Changing that system is a matter of life and death.
