Grade 8’s worked collaboratively to build a boat. They used their understanding of buoyancy and displacement to ensure their boat would float when weight was added.

Man do we have talent! What did our Junior Boys basketball team give the a school for Christmas? Nothing but a championship! Thank you to Mr.V, Miss Mackay and coaches Miller and Jacob for making us so proud!

Grade 8’s use the sage and scribe strategy to practice estimating square roots. It was awesome to see the gains made in their understanding when given the opportunity to teach their partner.

Very proud of these lady lions. They represented Blessed Sacrament incredibly well at the Brant A tournament earlier this week. They played hard, worked as a team, and showed great sportsmanship. #proudcoach

After reading the novel, ‘The Outsiders’, Ss culminated their learning with a drama activity. 7/8’s did an awesome job in their roles in ‘Johnny on Trial’.

Grade 8’s tested the quality of their water and looked at copper, nitrate, and chlorine pollutants. They also tested the pH levels and the hardness of it. It was an awesome afternoon of learning.

7/8’s tested their science culminating assignments today. 7’s tested their thermos’ for heat retention and 8’s tested their water filters. 8’s asked to re-filter their water to try and get the cleanest water possible. An awesome afternoon of learning.

So proud of these two for how well they represented Blessed Sacrament today at the WRMS Wrestling tournament!

7/8’s spent the day at Dundurn Castle. It was an awesome day spent learning and deepening their understanding of the war of 1812.

A great morning of conquering our fears and working together as a team. Blessed Sacrament did an awesome job at high ropes and rock climbing, and they were victorious on the obstacle course!
