Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhāb رحمه الله said: “Some of the People of the Dīn [Ahl al-Dīn] rebuke an evil, and the person is correct in doing so, however he is wrong in making the matter harsh to the point where it causes division between the brothers.”

Don’t measure a person’s closeness to Allāh by how loud their worship is. Measure it by how quiet their ego is. True piety isn’t in being seen — it’s in being sincere. A heart that fears Allāh in secret is more beloved to Him than a tongue that praises Him in public.

Knowledge is light, but not all who carry it are illuminated. If your learning makes you look down on others, it’s not guidance — it’s baggage. The Prophet ﷺ taught with love, not pride. The goal of ‘ilm isn’t to win debates; it’s to soften hearts.

Forgiving others is a reflection of your faith in Allāh’s justice. When you choose to forgive, you are saying that you trust Allāh to handle your pain in a way that is far beyond your capacity. It is Allāh who rewards the forgiving, and His reward is beyond measure.

True love is selfless. It’s not seeking what you can get but how much you can give. Love for the sake of Allāh is about striving to help each other fulfill Allāh’s commands, nurturing each other’s faith, and being a source of comfort and support through every trial and blessing.

The heart attached to this dunyā is never at peace. True peace comes when you detach from worldly desires and attach yourself to Allāh alone. Less you need from this dunyā, the more content you’ll be. In the end, everything returns to Him, so let your heart return to Him first.

Some of the heaviest deeds are the quietest. The tear in sujūd that no one saw. The coin slipped into a hand with no name. The insult you held back for Allāh’s sake. These are not small. On the Day of Judgment, it is the unseen actions that will shine the brightest.
