In our new study, Ellen Bryer and I examine racial wealth gaps during early adulthood, finding that gaps grow over time not only for net worth but also its constituent parts. Importantly, we show that financial assets are the largest contributor to widening the net worth gap.

This can easily be explained by a confounder: they’re gay
