This is always my favorite writing piece of the year. Students read Jennifer Dignan's beautiful poem "What My Name Means," then create their own name poem. It's such a wonderful way to get to know the children. I love seeing and talking about their poems. #scholasticscope

my happiest childhood memories are my mom taking me & my brother to the public library on sweltering summer afternoons. This ❤️ letter captures the magic of libraries exquisitely. “the smell: a paper bouquet of nothing and everything…” nytimes.com/2023/02/14/boo…

Students on 6Green had the opportunity to chat with Jennifer Dignan, writer and editor, and Christen Braithewaite, digital editor, of Scholastic Scope Magazine. The students had great questions and had the chance to give feedback to them, too!
