Quick reminder that in 2023, Governor Walz raised the MN gas tax to sustainably fund historic investments in roads, bridges, and public transit. Maybe he can inspire Governor McKee to be bolder this year.

Oh you don’t β€œget” pizza strips? Should we have a party? Should we invite a bunch of people who just moved here from Boston and have the personality of drywall?

Day 13 of walking every street in Providence. Worst walk of the journey so far. Smithfield Ave desperately needs crossing lights, and brush needs to be cut by RIDOTNews. Highly dangerous for pedestrians.

Didn't take any pictures or videos bc I was having too much fun, but honestly at this point Warren Folks Fest > Newport Folk. Such a great, free, local event. Truly the best of RI! Go next year if you haven't been.

the housing supply crisis is national, and it's somewhat relieving to see the top brass finally parroting what nerds on this app have been saying for about a decade.

I was at Sue A's Ward 3 meeting about the Comp Plan yesterday, and I have some thoughts on the proposed zoning changes - or mostly where they aren't happening! A🧡

Do you see where Providence is in this chart? Thats a policy decision. The face of that policy decision is the zoning map.

This is huge -- no matter where you live. Because California is such a large market, automakers often change all of their vehicles to comply with California law (such as emissions standards). Thank you to Families for Safe Streets National for your leadership in this fight.

Colleen is such a rockstar transportation reporter. Digs so deep, always provides the context, never loses the plot of climate and cost-of-living crises we're in. Just gold.

I’m a driver. I drive in bus only lanes every chance I get, I stop in virtually every bus zone I see, and I am absolutely ecstatic whenever I hear a car gets ticketed for it. Because I drive the bus. Wish you had interviewed a transit operator, we could explain why this is just.

BIG NEWS in the legal fight to reinstate congestion pricing. There is officially a court date. On September 27, attorneys representing both sides will present their arguments before a judge in the Riders Alliance v. Hochul and City Club of New York v. Hochul cases.

30 per YEAR!!! That is truly insane. Very much hoping to see grownup Robert Ferri for Mayor for Cranston re-write this once he defeats the R babies who can't get it together to even *plan* to build more homes.
