I enjoyed the whole November in Ghana, and had a super long carbon budget workshop! AfOx Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery but it is really difficult to switch from warm and sunny to cold and gloomy UK weather - really miss everything in Africa.

Finally submitted the Phd thesis! I had great fortune to be guided by brilliant supervisors Yadvinder Malhi Imma Oliveras Menor and @LabPrentice Also big “Thank you” to many peer researchers who taught and accompanied me during the PhD! Without whom I would not make it through the pandemic!

I was scheduled an “oral” presentation tomorrow at #BES2022 It is a wonderful model diagnosis project supervised by Beni Stocker and I love it so much, BUT, I lost my voice because of flu (not COVID)…guess I will make a speechless “oral” presentation 🫢

Great to have two days field work at Wytham Woods with Cecilia. Dr Cecilia Dahlsjö It is wonderful to see leaf decomposition in action! I did my PhD totally desk-based (due to COVID) but from time to time I need some feelings of nature :-P #ashdieback
