one of the faculty told me they used to read their papers out loud to each other to catch typos and weird bugs. now they just read them aloud to themselves. i tried it, felt ridiculous at first, shouting in my room about mergers. found two serious silly bugs. not funny anymore!

while obv undergrad/MSc thesis aren’t as shiny as a phd thesis, there is value in doing them and i wanted to share my own experience mine was a totally different field, but i am still proud and was a time well spent this is an email i sent my undergrad advisors last year
