Which fair hearing people are complaining about? How many times has the minister engaged the KM town council? and they ridicule him, challenge and also dare him. The mayor and CEO were basically taunting the minister to act. Civilized people don't act like that

Enough time has passed let's be honest about the National Youth Development Fund What was meant to be a beacon of hope for youth is turning into a bureaucratic maze At a recent information session, the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) stated they're not ready to disburse funds

Perhaps grandstanding and unconventional ways is what we need from ministers. How else do we jump start a failing engine? Im all for new energy in whatever form it comes in

Absolutely. Namibia (like all countries) has finite resources and needs to prioritize the use of these. The idea that we should build tar roads for low volume traffic while productive rail infrastructure is collapsing, is ludicrous. Shiimi is spot on.

The Namibian Imagine building a whole govt HQ with 3–4 floors, taxpayer funded from scratch, just for the entire building to shut down for lunch like it’s a corner clinic. Public chased out to sit on floors, services halted. That’s not lunch, that’s wasted resources & nonsense!

On 20 August 2025, I joined fellow Namibians at the annual Christian gathering, Windhoek Harvest, hosted by the Christian Revival Church at the Windhoek High School rugby stadium. It was a truly uplifting event of faith, fellowship, and unity.

The pastor needs a new car, let’s contribute to support him. A church member needs urgent surgery, let's pray for him. Priorities or hypocrisy?

Julius Malema says it’s time for South Africa to ban alcohol advertising, just like cigarettes. He argues ads glamorise drinking with “beautiful people at the beach” instead of showing the real damage caused by alcohol.

Frederick Kotze @Sanane! 🇳🇦🏳️‍🌈🇿🇦 Argentina experimented with rent control in 2020, mandating 3-year leases and capping increases. This led to a sharp drop in rental supply (e.g., 53% fewer listings) and higher real rents (up ~140%). Repealed in 2023, supply then surged 180-212%, and real rents fell 27-40%.
