Really enjoyed visiting The Poetry Society #FreeVerse yesterday. Great to see some old faces, and meet and chat with lots of poetry people, including Dr Jo Clement – and hear all about Butcher's Dog Publishing. And I picked up these two beautifully produced pamphlets from Dare-Gale Press.

The Poetry Society A few of yesterday's highlights included finally meeting Anthony Anaxagorou and Dr Jo Clement in person. Chatting to Stuart Bartholomew about the level of cool a poet needs to be published by Verve Poetry Press and talking poetry and the Caledonian Sleeper with Niall Campbell.
Sometimes you read a poem that makes you want to punch the air because it is just SO satisfying. Thank you Hannah Ledlie - and do buy the latest Butcher's Dog Publishing in which this appears alongside some other really fantastic poems 🩷 every issue a joy to read 🩷
