Had a great catch up with Heather Angell today. She has just about finished her experimental work, too. I can't believe they're both (Dawn Morgan) going to be writing up and submitting soon. Time has flown by.

Over the last few years I've seen a decrease in the number of students at my institution wanting to conduct decomposition based research. At one time I had lots, now I have one. However, trauma stuff is getting more attention.

Over the Xmas break I did write and deliver a lecture to Krav Maga students and instructors about domestic violence. Violence comes in many shapes and forms and it's important to have an understanding of what it encompasses. Often it's from people you know!

An interesting afternoon ahead for our L5 students (I hope 🤞)

A colleague recently retired so I've taken over the BPA parts of the course. Spent a good portion of the day in the lab experimenting with blood and working various scenarios. Thanks to Dawn Morgan for the help! Still have about 450 ml of blood to use so more experimenting soon.

Lots of people think violence includes only physical acts, but it's much more. #Workplace #violence, #bullying, & #harassment is so prevalent & employers often dismiss/ignore it, & cover it up. Looking forward to reading this book, recommended via a podcast on violence
