What a rewarding year at The Polyphony! I have been inspired by our amazing contributors and learned so much from my colleagues about editing & communication & intercultural collaboration. Excited for another year of great adventures!

The Intercultural Dialogue theme of The Polyphony invites guests from different cultural & national backgrounds to critically examine the centrality of #MedHum in the UK and North America. We hope to introduce concepts and narratives about #MedHum in under-represented cultures.

Are you an arts practice-based #MedicalHumanities (or adjacent) researcher? Want to write for The Polyphony about it? Please get in touch - looking to start/expand conversations about arts practice and methodology in the field. So much great work going on atm!

“Critical Perspectives on Art Therapy” the next instalment of the fantastic Confabulations series is online this Wednesday 8 Feb 6pm GMT. All welcome, tickets free through Eventbrite confabulationsdotorg.wordpress.com/current-progra…

What an exciting programme from our friends at Durham Health & Social Theory Group! 🤗

Exploring its relation to poetry, James McGrath celebrates slowness as something of neurological and social importance to autistic people.

'Constructing Sites: Surveying Scenes of Interdisciplinary Collaboration' Angela Woods & Des Fitzgerald invite contributions to a Bloomsbury Academic edited collection thepolyphony.org/2023/04/20/con…

Super excited! Do tune in and join the conversation with The Polyphony editors on publishing, editorship, outreach and engagement in the #medhum! #nnmhr2023

Big thanks to everyone who joined us at #NNMHR2023 this afternoon and our editors Dr Anna Jamieson, Nicole Xuan Chen, Aly F & Dr Chase Ledin for a great convo about MedHums editing and outreach! If you couldn't make today's panel, you can learn more about contributing here. (1/6)
