4x800 team of Sydney Hardy, Lyndsay Boswell, Kyndall Watson, and Brooke Wilson finish 11th with a time of 10:25.49 We are very proud of this group! First Regional 4x800 since 2014 They won the indoor conference 4x800 and placed 2nd at outdoor conference Mooresville Athletics

The 4x100 team of Kaitlyn Strietelmeier, Olivia Henderson, Brooklyn Tidd, and Lauren Atwell finish 8th with a time of 49.96. Another sub 50 run! Mooresville Athletics

In 2017, the 4x100 record was 50.41 (set in 2013) Our girls have run under 50 seconds every season since and performed well at the Regional meet: ‘18 - 49.67 ‘19 - 49.47 ‘21 - 49.52 ‘22 - 49.24 ‘23 - 49.94 ‘24 - 49.96 Mooresville Athletics

Kaitlyn Strietelmeier finished 11th in the 100m dash and joins a small list of Pioneers who have qualified for the Regional in 3 events in the same season. She led off the 4x100 and is about to anchor the 4x400 Easily one of the toughest girls we have! Mooresville Athletics

Becca Leitzman finishes 4th in shot put with a throw of 41-3.75, just 0.5 inches off the state standard! We will have to wait to see if she advanced but there is a chance! Mooresville Athletics

A good start to the morning: Becca Leitzman officially qualified for state in shot put with her throw of 41-3.75 last night. She will be seeded 11th and is our first 2 time state qualifier in the event in 40 years Great job, Becca! Mooresville Athletics

Well that was quick Denton Jacobs threw the state standard in discus on his first attempt and qualified for state! Mooresville Athletics

Chris Korthuis runs 11.04 and finishes 5th in the 100m trials. He will come back for the finals and attempt to run the standard of 10.99 Mooresville Athletics

Jai Dindiyal runs 22.88 in the 200m dash and makes the finals! Mooresville Athletics

Denton ends in 5th with a best throw of 165-3 He advances to state for the second year in a row! Mooresville Athletics

Chris Korthuis finishes 5th in the 100m with a time of 11.12. He will not advance but he ends the year as the school record holder with a best time of 10.95 Mooresville Athletics

Becca Leitzman is representing the Pioneers at today’s state finals at Indiana University. She is in the 2nd flight for shot put and is our only 2 time shot put qualifier in program history! Mooresville Athletics

Becca officially finishes right where she was seeded at 11th overall with a throw of 41-3.25. That is the best result in the shot put at the state meet in team history. We are very proud of Becca and excited for her future at IWU! Mooresville Athletics

Consistent with the theme of the season, we have rain here at the state meet. Denton Jacobs is competing in discus at 3:00 PM He is our only two time qualifier in discus in school history Mooresville Athletics

Denton finishes 14th, same as last year, after being seeded 16th. He recovered after a rough first throw and had two solid throws in the low 150s in difficult conditions. He ends his HS career as our indoor shot put and discus school record holder. He will be missed! Mooresville Athletics
