Important work from WashU Medicine OBGYN - urine toxicology testing for isolated marijuana use rarely results in identification of other substances, but frequently results in calls to child welfare. It’s time to rethink how we use testing on L&D #obgyntwitter

The Oasis is so important as a safe and supportive housing option for families experiencing #homelessness in #SanFrancisco. It is the only low-barrier shelter that allows couples and families to enter and stay together in SF. City of San Francisco we need to protect this vital resource!

Excited to see Journal of Substance Use & Addiction Tx (JSAT) changed their name. The evidence is clear that use of the term substance “abuse” is associated with overly negative and punitive perceptions of those that use drugs or are experiencing substance use disorders.

Finished my last rotation as medical student, and my last page was: "Patient would like to tell you that he is proud of you." Grateful to UCSF School of Medicine for 5 years of growth and learning, and to the patients who make it all worth it. #medtwitter #Match2023

We are Boston bound! Honored to continue my #obgyn training at Brigham/Mass Gen. Deep gratitude for the family who crossed oceans for me, mentors who invested in me, and patients who inspired me. Can't wait for a lifetime of serving my community! #Match2023

Presented at a high school today about becoming a doctor. My favorite Qs: “What are you doing to right historical wrongs in medicine?” “What is your favorite organ and you can’t say the uterus.” Love sharing my passion for #obgyn with the next generation! The future is bright
