Woo-hoo! Received my copy of Swoop Books new #anthology Ordinary People and what a lovely production it is! Many thanks to all involved. So looking forward to reading fellow #authors short stories.

Revisiting v.9 on the edits of my first novel I did wonder how authors of the past kept their sanity without the benefits of today’s technologies. Then again… perhaps the editing phase actually broke them in the end? Thank you Jonny Geller for sharing this incredible insight.

I almost missed seeing this in my mailbox! Quite chuffed, especially as I love poetry but I hadn’t considered it one of my strengths. Many thanks to the judges WinningWriters.com for giving me the faith to write more.

Congratulations Patricia Mullin on being a LISP finalist for your brilliant Factsheet 5 flash fiction piece. Very exciting!

I submitted to the The Masters Review Flash Fiction Contest! $3k awarded. Details here: mastersreview.com/flash-fiction-… Stories that are: #small #powerful

Great session last night with Jonathan Whitelaw and Laura Williams hosted by Jericho Writers discussing synopsis writing. Thank you all for invaluable insight into one of the trickiest parts of the novel publishing process!

Many thanks Eva Carter aka Kate Harrison/Helm: 3 authors in 1! for excellent pitching advice and guidance at the Jericho Writers Pitch Power webinar this evening. So it’s back to brainstorming new title ideas for Ana Johri …!

This amazing, beautifully written and important book by Angela Findlay should be on the National Curriculum. Had to buy more copies to gift to friends even before I’d finished reading my own copy. Many thanks Alistair Lambert for leading me to it!

Kidnapped at birth by her parents’ murderers, Ana’s inheritance will get her killed. Heathfield’s Seed meets The Goldfinch in this 1990’s Cotswolds #psychologicalthriller. #JWMeetYourMatch Jericho Writers
