A busy week with Stage 3 and 2 learning the basics of animation! Villawood East

In 5/6C we are collaboratively building in Minecraft to show what Sydney looked like before and after colonisation. This is Sam and Talal's Aboriginal meeting place with humpy's and a fire place. Villawood East

3/6S started learning how to use Dash the robot today. We were very impressed at Dash’s manners, always looking at us when we are talking. We even had a go at coding today! 3/6S’s tech skills are getting very impressive! Villawood East

Stg1 today were working hard putting their holiday books together to show the amazing places we have to escaped to when they are learning with me.. can’t wait to see their teachers faces, they won’t believe the places we’ve been! Villawood East Sarah Francis Sarah Sanders

Impress me time with Stg3 today. Lots of coding on scratch to create games or makeymakey controllers and pianos and also coding with the microbits. I was very impressed with the ideas they came up with!

Stg3 impress me time- the girls made scissors paper rock controllers, very impressive!

Kindergarten are getting very quick at turning on the laptops and logging in! They found the internet today independently and searched for a website- They love playing the alphabet games on ABCya Villawood East

In KF we have been learning about length. We’ve discovered long, longer and longest and short, shorter and shortest things in our playground and also made and ordered play dough shapes according to their length.Sarah Francis Villawood East
