When I started in #gamedev we made games with 50 people per team. Now it's 1500. That is an unsustainable curve. Unit economics stop working, bubbles burst. Perfectly run teams are not going to reverse this. Tools are. Demand better tools.

And a few decades later good luck spotting the difference between FFXIII and FFXVI characters. It's amazing how expensive, difficult and laborious this long tail is and how progressively the returns diminish with every generation. As amazing as these games are.
