A really practical guide for all parents and #slps in maximising communication opportunities in children with #ASD… looking forward to doing the #hanenprogram workshop in the future!

So wonderful hearing from speech pathologists around the country in the latest episode of the #speakup podcast. A great way to finish off #SPweek2022! open.spotify.com/episode/791ueY…

Loved what Em Rusciano shared on #ADHD at the national press club on #ABCNews! I was confronted by my own misconceptions and challenged to think about what I can do to support students with ADHD as a future speech pathologist. Definitely worth the watch! youtu.be/4v88Wd20GiU

Came across an interesting systematic review about treatment outcomes for #CAS. I didn't know that #phonological treatment focusing on learning linguistic rules can be generalised across a range of contexts in children with CAS! Thanks for sparking the interest Emma.Thomas!

Reminded about how important the role of a #speechpathologist is as I recently came across this news article about John Farnham which raises awareness about #dysphagia and it’s impact. 7news.com.au/entertainment/…

Thank you Cath Gregory, PhD for yesterday's informative lecture on #FND Truly an amazing advocate for such a hidden and mistreated disorder! Will definetely be going back to this review that will help guide my #speechandlanguage recommendations in the future neurosymptoms.org/wp-content/upl…

Exploring the special stories app for a client so she can share personal stories and connect with others. I’m reminded of how much of a privilege it is that we as #SLPeeps get the opportunity to do something meaningful for someone! #AACAwarenessMonth

In preparation for placement this week, I read an interesting article about echolalia in #ASD and how #SLPeeps respond to it in intervention. Looking forward to putting what I learnt into practice! Here's a link to the article: doi.org/10.1044/2015_A…
