It's sad when you realize that fiyero is the only person grateful that elphaba cast a spell on him and that means a lot because she feels immense guilt for all her spells, even though they were cast for good and to help, but fiyero is grateful and happy to be alive and with her

I find the Fiyero and Elphaba relationship so unconditional because he’s the only one who never reacts to her being green when they first meet, he just sees her. It’s the quiet beginning of a love built on recognition and he’s grateful for her magic saving him in the end.
