Just learned there is something called “Tango Buffer” for PCR reactions and I can’t help but think the molecules in those reactions are dressed up in tiny outfits dancing in the reaction tubes

I was one of the probationary employees from USDA ARS that got let go on Friday. If you or someone you know is hiring for a position that aligns with my background (molecular bio, microbiol, plant path, virology, RNAi), I would greatly appreciate any referrals or recommendations.

Physically doing science, not just being talked down to about it, would change a lot of people's minds. Part of the reason why folks are skeptical of scientific institutions is the moat between general public participation and the various fields of research.

Very excited to see my first first author paper published in PNASNews . We found the first effector regulator in plant-parasitic nematodes! Congratulations to all authors and co first author Clément Pellegrin. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…

Meet Innatrix’ summer intern, Ben Ryan! He is a forensic biology undergrad who discovered his love for plant biology (which makes sense since plants are awesome) With our latest SCN trial taken down this week, Ben is busy counting cysts. Excited to be Ben’s mentor this summer!

It’s been so great working at Innatrix on RNAi biologicals that target critical genes in SCN. Have a read about our technology!

In a world so deeply obsessed with ruthless competition and conquest, I'd love to live in counterpoint by promoting collaborative joy. Let's explore the living world and tell stories around the campfire together. Can't wait to do more community science with y'all. 💚
