Earlier this month I won my first national award for journalism! I was recognized by JCI USA as one of ten Most Outstanding Young People in America for elevating the voices of underrepresented communities in news. To say I’m grateful is an understatement. More impact to come!🫶🏾

Last Friday I completed my last day as a reporter for the State Journal Register. I am so grateful to have had an amazing editor & colleagues. Next month I will begin working as a reporter for KMOX St. Louis News, The Voice of St.Louis! My next chapter of impact is underway🤩
