perhaps an unfashionable opinion, but why does this increasingly fall to EDs? we’re here to practice Emergency Medicine, but we get asked to do more and more screening/public health/preventative medicine/social care. and all within 4h or we get fined.

Normalise calling 80% LTFT doctors “full time” doctors. The 40 hours a week they work is more than any AFC staff is contracted for Doctors who work an average of 48 hours a week should be called something else. “Overtime doctors” “Overcooked doctors” Suggestions welcome
