We asked our students what they want to know about trees, and they came up with great questions! We even talked about how the friendships in our class grow just like trees, and everyone added their handprint to our class tree to symbolize our growing bond! 🌳Jordyn Martin

Today, our students learned about the life cycle of a tree! Each student planted their own seed, and over the course of our tree study, they’ll care for it with water and sunlight, watching it grow. 🌲🌳 Jordyn Martin

Today, we used the leaves we collected on our nature walk to create a leaf color graph! We talked about which colors had the most, which had the least, and which were equal. In the end, we discovered that yellow and green were equal! Jordyn Martin

Today, our little explorers set out on a number hunt to find the number 3 around the classroom! They also completed a number 3 activity, creating pictures, tally marks, a 10-frame, and the numeral itself. We love learning through discovery! Jordyn Martin

Our classroom is bubbling over with positivity for our ‘Woof of the Week’! Each time students make a green choice, they colored in a bubble on our recipe for good behavior chart. Jordyn Martin
