Had a meeting yesterday where I got some feedback on some SkyBlock stuff I was working on. A designer asked for a change and I was like "Oh yea that's a quick 5 min fix". Me 2 hours later: "That was not a quick fix".

Peak game design is having an hour meeting to give stuff names

A new mechanic you will see in the nether revamp is items that ability costs aren't mana but are other resources. For example, instead of mana an item could cost 10% of your total health to cast its ability. The wand of strength is an example of this (numbers may not be final).

After 5.5 years, today is my last day at Hypixel Server. This wasn't an easy choice for me to make but I've decided to move on to new adventures! I want to thank everyone on the Hypixel team and the community for making my time here special, it was a really great journey!

Rest in peace Techno, you will be forever missed.
