Imo, the best way to satiate Nintendo while maintaining competitive integrity: BF, YS, DL and counterpick FD In bo3, each player gets one strike. Winner of game 1 gets a ban. In bo5, same striking. No bans, modified DSR where you can't return to the stage you last won on.

I agree with this. FoD is arguably worse than unfrozen stadium. I'd honestly rather have a clause that you don't fight during transformations and we just make stadium games longer, effectively freezing it. But I'd rather not have it than have transformations on
