Very sorry to see Andy Street lose, always had respect from people across the political spectrum because of just how dedicated he was

Hope this isn’t the last we see of him

It’s really weird that there are loads of political correspondents, even editors, that have never heard of verification before

Election counts should take place overnight asap once polls close. Prompt is good - both for transparency and trust, and as an engaging, exciting process.

Just said goodbye to my flatmate Luke as he moves on to become a home owner!

My flatmate for four years, having met him and then my Dad dying within a week, it’s been a ride to say the least, but he’s been a great friend and flatmate!

Adios Luke 🫡

Quite extraordinary, in the context of a protest about Gaza, to refer to students who have voluntarily occupied a building at their $65k-a-year university as in need of “basic humanitarian aid”.

It's sad that a top 10 hit used to mean it was a song EVERYONE knew. Put 100 totally random americans in a room with any of the teenage dream hits and that's a party. Can the same be said for the alleged hits on Midnights?

Had no idea the tethered drinks lid idea came from an EU directive, such a terrible design

Find it baffling, putting aside the pros and cons of membership itself, that they always find weird ways to create small, annoying problems

Not sure it applies to Humza directly but was noted a while ago that as glass ceilings are broken people start to scramble for more niche 'firsts' for smaller roles

Sometimes we need to stop looking for glass ceilings, be happy they've been smashed, and focus on the day job

How safe can London’s streets be for Jewish people when even Holocaust memorials need covering up?

Police efforts to protect Jewish memorials and communities show that protests in London are not peaceful.

At what point are we going to start acknowledging and addressing this?
