Gutsy OT win over Uintah to start the season. Great play by the entire team after early setbacks (bus broke down twice on 3+ hour 95-degree road trip causing game to be delayed).

Evan is threat to score every time he touches the ball on offense. On defense he's an eraser, he makes plays vs the run, and is a beast dropping into coverage. He's been integral to Murray's success the last two seasons. Evan Talbot

This morning I picked him up from the high school at 3:30am-ish when they returned and he just said they won. I found out later while I was at work about the drama. He’s just like his Mom and not me😂. Congratulations to the Murray Spartans!

McKade was a workhorse last night. 33(!) carries 135 yards and 2 TD's in a hard fought overtime win. McKade consistently broke tackles and defender's ankles. I'm excited to see what he can do as the season rolls on!

Whittingham shared that specialists have been erratic but that Dillon Curtis has converted 65-yarders in practice and that he is probably the strongest kicker they’ve ever had. Also noted that they don’t know what they truly have in him til he starts kicking in games.
