The 6-year olds had to name a woman who inspired them at school for IWD & they said: 'my mummy writes good books about 'fenimism' & she is proud of being bossy'. I try to remind myself of that when I am woken up at 6 am by them screaming & bickering on Mother's Day.

Decolonise the education system! 👏🏽I remember when I studied paeds nursing and I asked what does sepsis look like in black children? My lecturer told me to look under the tongue…that was it…I was already at a disadvantage and that has always stuck with me.. Mars Lord #bmhcuk
