It was a pleasure to host independent school nurses to Ludgrove’s first Nurses’ Forum. As well as sharing best practice, the group welcomed Tracey Boseley from Child Bereavement UK, who gave an insightful presentation about how they support young people in their darkest times. #schoolnurse

It was heart warming to see Ludgrove’s sporting spirit wrap its arms around all our cricketers yesterday. Whether in celebration or commiseration, as part of the team or cheering from the boundary, as always our boys were lifted up by our ‘family’. #cricket #prepschool

While it was on the chilly side on the pitches at Ludgrove, the boys radiated with excitement for the start of the cricket season! They opened their account with challenging fixtures v Caldicott with the visitors putting up stiff opposition. Looks like a great season! #cricket

On #WordEarthDay the boys flicked the switch at Ludgrove and turned off lights and screens to highlight the need for us all to conserve energy. Well done to the Green Team who led the ‘Charge of the Light Brigade’ and continue to work hard to improve the our green credentials.💚

Forget about cricket (shocking we know!), the IIs’ play, their favourite food or any other treasured part of Ludgrove life - the thing that the boys love most is being with each other! The strongest of friendships are formed because all the boys board and no one is left out. 😊

The boys in the IIs hosted their counterparts from Downe House School today as they started their mammoth task to learn, rehearse and perform a ‘Play in 2 Days’! The Year 7s have joined forces to put on Around the World in 80 Days for their families to enjoy in the Theatre on Friday.🎭

There’s a new chef on the block at Ludgrove! Mr Lamerton has joined as Catering Manager and has already got his sleeves rolled up and prepared some delicious meals for staff during inset training days. We can’t wait to see what’s on the menu this term. #schoollunch #schoolmeals

The Ludgrove team finished the first inset training day of the term by swapping laptops for bowling balls and hitting the alley for an evening of team building fun. Lots of friendly competition but we couldn’t possibly say who won… (any ideas?)😂 #stafftraining #bowling

That’s a wrap! The boys have come to the end of their innings on the Pre Season Cricket Training Camp in Spain. The team has had an amazing experience honing their skills for the coming season and we can’t wait to see the results played out on the pitches this Summer term. 🏏

Ludgrove is delighted to mark 30 years service of one of the School’s true legends - Miss Bridge, VIs’ Matron. Miss Bridge has helped nearly 1,000 boys settle into boarding life in the VIs and is a familiar face to many OLs who now have sons at Ludgrove. Thank you Miss Bridge👏👏
