There are 2 reasons Apple Vision Pro's UI is so 2D:

#1 is so everything behaves the same way across their ecosystem.

But #2 is because making AR Glasses (a future Vision Air) is much easier if your UI is 2D.

I don't think Apple is as committed to 3D as most people think.
